FORT WORTH, Texas (March 3, 2017) – The Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate’s Executive Committee has once again approved an allocation of funds to support this weekend’s Tarrant County Junior Livestock Show.
This commitment comes following the Syndicate’s work in providing contributions of more than $3.2 million at the Fort Worth Stock Show last month.
The 2017 Tarrant County Junior Livestock Show will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Will Rogers Memorial Center’s Swine Barn. The show has been held annually since 1950.
“This is always an important commitment for our organization to make,” FWSSS Chairman Doug Cassidy said. “Supporting our local youth as they continue to maintain Tarrant County’s proud tradition in the agricultural industry is at the heart of our mission.”
Since its founding in 1980, the Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate has raised more than $52.7 million for youth exhibitors and has helped more than 8,000 children pursue their agricultural goals.
